Andre Gray escaped local gang culture to follow a Jamie Vardy-like meteoric rise from non-league to premier league. Manager Sean Dyche will be hoping he’ll be firing plenty of shots this season, as Gray is Burnleys real hope of avoiding another yo-yo return to the championship. Having gone straight back down last time they were here, Burnley have kept Dyche and the same nucleus of players, and they’ll be better off this time for the experience. Dyche is certainly no stranger to a relegation scrap, or probably a scrap of any kind considering he looks as though his training methods consist of barking orders and making grown men cry. Burnley fans sing ‘Andre Gray my lord’ and whilst their style may not be to every ones taste, last years championship top goalscorer will be worshipped for years to come if his goals can secure the Clarets top flight safety.
