Hull City.

The writing is on the wall for Hull before a ball has even been kicked. Last years playoff winners were always going to be a favourite to go straight back down, but events since their Wembley triumph have hardly garnered hope of a survival fight. Ex-manager Steve Bruce walked out 2 weeks ago in a row over lack of transfers, leaving Hull with just 13 senior players in their ranks. Former United Assistant Manager Mike Phelan now has his first crack at management in charge of a side with a smaller squad than the Dog and Duck FC. Or should I say Cats and Dogs FC? Cause that’s what it’s raining in Hull.

Key man: Curtis Davies

Best signing: Anyone that will actually sign

Verdict: 20th
