West Brom.

Tony Pulis’ style is a bit like E.T. It ain’t pretty, but at least he gets home. And that’s all the baggies can hope for this season once the games commence. Having kept them in the Prem with an unattractive style last term, Pulis will set West Brom up for another year scraping draws and battling it out for 1-0 wins (they didn’t win a game by more than 1 goal in last year). They are in desperate need of a replacement for the inevitably outgoing Saido Berahinho if they are to stand a chance, but you’d expect them to steer clear enough of the bottom 3 to settle for lower mid-table.

Key man: Tony Pulis

Best signing: Matt Phillips (By default)

Verdict: 15th
